10 Premature Baby Care Tips To Practice At Home

A premature baby requires intense care and monitoring more often than a full-term baby as their bodies might not be fully prepared to sustain in a natural environment without outside support. 1. Breastfeed your premature baby

2. Keep a feeding schedule

Make sure to feed your premature baby at least eight times a day at no less than four-hour intervals. It will help your baby dodge dehydration. Also, remember to keep the schedule intact.

3. Practice a kangaroo care

Skin-to-skin contact is an essential ingredient in the development of a premature baby. So keep your baby close to your chest as if a kangaroo places its cub in its bosom.
